Work From Home Business Opportunity – Why Should Someone Join You?

by Sampson on November 6, 2009

What if you knew what to tell people so that they would be more than happy to do the things you suggest they do? Things like to joining your home based business opportunity; things like getting that child to willingly do the chore he or she is assigned?

There is a strategy that can be used to achieve this end. Not that when you use these principles you would get 100 percent favorable responses from people all the time and get them to do what you want. However, imagine if you were to get a mere 10 percent positive results, it means that you would be 10 percent more effective as a leader in getting people to do what you want them to do than before – and that is your benefit.

Do you think this will in anyway help you build a great online business and create wealth for you in your home based business? I bet you I would take that any day! Or night!

OK so here we go…

Make the other person happy about doing the thing you suggest“. [1]

This principle is applicable in any area of life and gets great results. However, I want us to zero in on how to use this in building your home based Internet business.

I said in one of my earlier posts a couple of weeks back that people join you as leader in a particular Internet business opportunity because of the perceived gain they will get by their association with you. Experience confirms that most people do not join a Network Marketing company because of the great comp plan, great products, etc, etc, but because of you.

So here is short, easy, six-pointer that you may use to make the other person glad to do business with you…

  • Be sincere. Do not promise anything you cannot deliver. This is especially true in the early stages after a prospect has expressed interest in your business and filled out an opt-in form like the one to the top right of this page.  When you communicate with them through emails or speak to them on the phone, don’t fall to the temptation to ‘over promise’ in order to get them to sign up on the dotted line. Focus on the benefits to other person and forget about the benefits to you. Be sincere in your desire to help them out. The money will come when your desire to help is genuine. So make sure you don’t fake it this time.
  • Know exactly what it is you want the other person (your prospect) to do. Be as clear as you possibly could with your instructions. Example, if you are interested in teaming with me, I want you to fill the form to the right of this page or below.
  • Be empathetic. Ask yourself what it is the other person really wants. Most home business opportunity buyers are not really searching for money but the things that money can help them accomplish. Point this out in your conversations.
  • Consider the benefits that person will receive from doing what you suggest.
  • Match those benefits to the other person’s wants.
  • When you make your request, put it in a form that will convey to the other person the idea that they personally will benefit.

Here is a blatant pitch. To see what is it in for you in the world’s top Internet home business, I want you to fill the form on the right of this page or below and partner with me in creating wealth online.

Hi Albert,

I perfectly understand how you feel. I would feel the same way if I were in your position. I have been in the situation you describe and I’m only out to help those who need it. We’ve all had enough of these gurus haven’t we? Take the what you’ve learned from Matt and share it with other people to help out and make our profession more credible. There are more people who need help than those who can give it sincerely and without expressed want. I wish you well.
