We are treating the 5 faces of the Slight Edge that anyone can harness to help them achieve their dreams. In the previous post I talked about Harnessing The Power Of Momentum. In case you missed it, you can click on the link below  to access it so you get the full picture, from the very beginning: Harnessing The Power Of Momentum

This is the second installment:

Step #2: Harnessing The Power of Completion

One of the best and practical ways of gathering momentum and keep building it is to complete projects that you initiate. Most of us have been there before; we start a project full of energy and drive. However, for some unknown reasons, we stop midstream. And abandon the project and with it dies every dream or goals we had at the beginning.

Are there any commitments (i.e. things) that are incomplete in your life? Maybe you started doing your taxes but you stopped halfway through the process? You began an article marketing campaign for your Work At Home Internet Business. However after submitting a couple of articles, you stopped doing it? Is there someone you should complement and say ‘Thank You’, but you’re yet to do it?

You have purchased all the courses on Internet Website Marketing that ever got launched, but you never completed them. I watched a video in which Tony Robbins had a chat with Frank Kern and John Reese. And they said that one of the reasons why so many people fail in this industry is the lack of completion of courses they purchase. They will buy every Internet marketing course that gets released, but after the initial excitement dies off, most people will shelve the course. And the worst thing, they go buy a new one!

Here is the reason why incomplete things in your life are keeping you from succeeding with your Work From Home Business Opportunity…

Every incomplete promise, commitment or agreement saps your strength, because it blocks your momentum, ability to move forward, to progress and improve. Incomplete things keeps calling you back to the past to take care of them. When this happens you are never able to move forward as it makes you a prisoner of your past. Even if you bought a new course and think this will be it, the cycle will repeat itself.

So how you deal with it? The answer is simple: Go back and complete those commitments. There may be the fear of confronting the issue, feelings of intimidation, and very uncomfortable to start. But if you start with with Baby steps. Take a little at time. Perhaps you can devote fifteen minutes a day to dealing with the stack of ‘Undones’, but that’s all it takes to ever getting it out the way and your head for good. So if you had an idea of how to move your business forward, purchased an Internet marketing course, started it and abandoned it, go back to it and get through it.

For every time you complete something, you get to move on with your luggage a little lighter and with a bit more spring  in your step. Start today, keep taking the easy to do, little steps daily and see the energy release you get.

I’m looking for serious and smart entrepreneurs to mentor to create their own Internet Businesses. If this sounds like you, I would want to hear from you. Fill the form below to take a look.

I wish you nothing but success.
