Who Is Sampson Agyekum?

So who is Sampson Agyekum? And, how can he help me build my  own legitimate home based business and move to the next level?

Hello, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it. It’s Sampson here and here is my success story…

I was born in Ghana in western part of Africa.

After high school, I attended the prestigious University of Ghana, where I studied for a degree in Nutrition and Food Science. After university and completing my statutory National Service, at the age of 24, I moved to London, England to study for my masters degree in Database Engineering.

Why the sudden change in direction you may ask?

I had always been intrigued by the power and ability of computers to process information. And always wanted to work as an accomplished computer professional. Hence when I had the chance to study them (once in Europe)  I jumped at the opportunity. It is what I really enjoy doing.

After the masters study, I specialized as an Oracle Database Administrator.  I did ALL this so that I could get a job! :-) More on that later…

I am married to my childhood sweetheart, Rita.

We have two kids: Ronnie (2 years – boy) and Makayla (1 month – girl). They are the joy of our lives. Currently we live in Berlin, Germany.

Being an Entrepreneur and even more so, an Internet Entrepreneur, was not something that ever crossed my mind. Nor was I ever told something like that was possible. I was told that the best way to make it in life was to go to a good school and then University, study hard, get a good degree and then GET A J-O-B! Work for 40 years building someone else’ dream and if you’re fortunate, retire with a pension. Sounds familiar?

Now don’t get me wrong. It works for some people, but maybe not others.

After my Oracle training, and a couple of contract-working for about 18 months, I landed my ‘dream job’ with a household name company, working as the Oracle DBA, in Bassingstoke, South West England, UK.

When the credit crunch began to tighten and people started loosing their jobs like there was no tomorrow, my job was shipped to India, in what we all know as corporate downsizing! Finding another J-O-B then became a huge challenge. Rita’s employer’s then transferred her to Berlin, Germany. I had lost my job, Ronnie was still very young (an infant), so I had to move with them to Berlin.

Now here is the sweet part…

I was introduced into the network marketing, MLM industry in November 2005. This is when I was working on my MSc dissertation. I wanted to find a way to make some supplementary income online to help me through.

From this time to August 2008, I would loose close to $10K to a bunch of MLM companies and reps I never saw or knew. This was through product purchases, over 10,000 flyers and postcards, maintaining memberships and a whole lot of waste.

Then my break came in August 2008. I was searching on web on how to build the latest MLM company I had joined. I think my 15th company. Funny how they all operate in a similar fashion. They tell you to go sell their products yet never train you how to sell or market in the first place, except to your friends and family. But before you know it you have run out of family and friends! :-) . No grudges or hard feelings though; I would not have the experience I have had it not been them.

But you do not have to go through the same curve and costly mistakes.

During one of my searches, I was fortunate enough to click on an ad on the search engine to led me to the light at the end of the tunnel!

The rest, they say is history!

Today, I’m a proud member of the world’s most legitimate home based business which not only provides a college standard internet marketing training but also its own private wealth creation group.

You have the chance to be part of it and create your own online success story here on this page. It’s completely your choice! You can click on the banner to your right or fill the form with your name and email and get in touch with me.

Thanks and see you at the top because that’s where you belong.

Hello you seem very knowledgable in MLM marketing. I have been given a lead on a new MLM that may be very lucrative. Would you be willing to communicate?

Sampson,
Thanks for the invitation to your blog. Seriously considering some of the trainings . Times are getting too tough and tight for me. Need income in addition to 9-5.

Well is interesting, sometimes you can’t even figure out which is true and what is not when it comes to online business, however i thought i could consult you since we all have the same last name. Let me know more about how, if you could, thanks.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for kind words and encouragement. The best way to ‘get it’ in our industry is to offer to help as many as need it. That’s the way to go my friend. Thanks and stay in touch…

Hi Wes,

Thanks for the kind invite. I’m settled now with I have and not looking for new opportunities at the moment. Besides I had enough headaches with MLMs to state it lightly? I’m more of a Direct Sales guy.

However thanks for the invite. Let me know how I can help if you have any queries on marketing your business. Cheers!

Hi Sampson, I arrived here from an invitation through twitter. I’m still at the looking stage of my internet marketing career, I guess although I have had a few minor successes. I’m not interested in MLM’s at all though because my funds are limited enough to not want to be scammed out of them. However, I wanted to let you know that I came and now I’m going to read through your blog. Thanks for the invite!

Good Blog. Loved your story. We have all wasted, I chose to believe invested, a lot of money in MLM

13 Sampson November 19, 2009 at 5:43 PM

Hi Dee,

Thanks. I like the idea of ‘invested’ better than ‘wasted’. I’ll go along that line from now on. Cheers
