“The expression you wear on your face is far more important the clothes you wear on your back” – Dale Carnegie
Did I get your attention with the title of this post – The Power Of A Smile In Creating Wealth Online?
If smiling is that powerful in helping us build our home based business opportunities, why is that most people, myself included, do not it enough? The ancient Chinese had a proverb that goes like this: “A man without a smiling face must not open a shop” [1] (Emphasis mine). And to me this is true for online businesses as well as offline. And here’s why. Internet marketing has now become more of a human relationship business. People do not necessarily join a business but they join you and we usually buy from someone we know.
Now if you are reading this article, I suppose you already have a home based business that is creating you wealth online or your are looking for a first class network marketing training or business that works. Sooner or later you’re going to be dealing with people over the phone if you’re really serious about creating wealth online.
Now when you are dealing with prospects and/or your team members on the phone, a smile can be felt over the phone line! And the other person will know whether you are genuinely interested in helping them build their online business by the expression you’re wearing on your face.
Smiling, besides helping us build and strengthening business relationships, has other emotional benefits. Smiling makes you happy and the people around you be at ease.
So what if you do not feel like smiling? Our emotional state is all a state of mind. They say you’ve gotta want to be happy, in order to be happy. When you want to be happy think happy thoughts. Abraham Lincoln said “most folkes are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” We can choose to be happy or miserable. Choose to be happy by smiling and as they say “the whole world will smile with you”.
Then building your home based online business becomes more fun again and soon you’ll begin to see the sales pop out at the other end.
