Creating Wealth From Home By Moving Beyond Your Comfort Zone

by Sampson on January 12, 2010

You’ve probably experienced this before, or maybe not. It all depends on who you talk to. You’ve been building your Home Business Opportunity for some time. You begin to results coming, the team begins to grow to maybe 5, 10, 20 or more consultants. In the previous post about the adolescent stage of the business growth, I briefly mentioned the dangers of managing your team by what is called Management by Abdication. You may quickly read this post here.

For an offline, traditional brick and mortar business, you’ve got your first employee who is now helping you with most of the work that needs doing in the business. The business is now growing steadily; more customers, more employees.

Your marketing efforts are now finally paying off and your team is growing steadily, where it’s reached a point that is beyond the comfort zone of the business owner. You’re struggling to manage your team now. You need to find a balance between your marketing efforts and managing a the team.

To build a sustainable legitimate home business for the long term, the best and proven strategy is to invest in your team. This is crucial. Training from your company may be great. However, you will personally have to train your team if you’re to continue reaping long term benefits and be able to retire in style. It is not the best to leave people on their own, even if he or she is a techie and knows all about marketing online.

You have let your managerial and entrepreneurial sides be put to use at this point in your business.

Here are three things that can happen if you choose not to train your team members yourself and assume that they will be fine on their own:

  • Getting Small Again.

Duplication and leverage are two of the best strategies in the Work From Home Internet Business industry. This actually very much dependent on how well you are able to train your team so they can duplicate your results. However, if you are not able to do this very well, i.e. allowing the Managerial side of you to flourish, the natural thing most people would do is to give up and quit. So this week one consultants cancels their membership, then next week two more people do. Before you could say Jack, you’re coming back to Infancy stage again. To beat this ensure you invest in your team.

  • Going For Broke

This is simply my way of saying, ‘quitting’, yourself. Since you did not train your team members and left everything to chance, and pretty much everyone has left, you become discouraged. So you may as well hung your gloves and cancel your memberships and look for something else. Something else, most probably another Internet business. But because you did not deal with the problem in your ‘previous company’, they’re sure to repeat.

  • Hang On For Dear Life

The last alternative is to hang for dear life and see what happens. However, a small business hanging on for dear life can only do so for so long and not long, the inevitable will happen: You’ll the the doors.

To avoid all this is to invest in systems that will help you train your team members because once they succeed like you, you have also succeeded. It’s seems quite obvious but a lot of work at home Internet entrepreneurs miss it, big time!

To involved in a community where you are trained to be the best and cutting edge, so that you can also pass the skills onto your team members, fill the form on the page.

Success to you.
