In fact last month, December 2009, I had a new member on my team with the Internet Marketing company I’m proud to be a member of. During a conversation, she told me she has small offline business she’s closing the doors on. The reason being that she’s struggled to stay afloat up until now but due to the current economic downturn she can’t continue anymore without digging herself deeper and deeper into debt and not knowing how she’s gonna come out.
Why am I sharing this with you? Well her story is not new. And she’s not the first and certainly will not be the last of such. A lot of small offline businesses are closing their doors now and most of these folks are now turning to the Internet to salvage the little sanity and hope they have left. Does that mean Internet businesses are immune to failure? Certainly not! In fact the failure rate among Internet business (start ups) is even much higher. About 95 percent of all Internet marketers end up as failures.
